Saison 2014/Season 2014

Eine schneereiche Saison neigt sich langsam dem Ende zu. Auf den Dächern sitzt teilweise immernoch 0.5Meter und tropft vor sich hin. Tourenskifahrer kamen den ganzen Winter auf Ihre Kosten und geniesse auch jetzt noch herrliche Bedingungen. Eiskletterer wurden Anfangs Saison früh verwöhnt, mussten dann schon Mitte Februar aufgrund der hohen Temperaturen forfait geben. Eine Weile wird es noch dauern, bis die Bedingungen im Magic Wood ein angenehmes, trockenes bouldern zulassen. Zeit für uns die letzten Vorbereitungen zu treffen.

Aufgrund des ansteigendes Abfallmenge und die dadurch entstehenden Kosten, haben wir uns entschieden den Preis auf CHF 6.- anzuheben. Der Europreis bleibt mit EUR 5.- gleich wie in der letzten Saison.

Als weitere Massnahme konnte endlich mit der ToiToi Firma eine höhere Anzahl Toiletten für die Hochsaison vereinbart werden. Wir hoffen den Ansturm dieses Jahr somit meistern zu können. Falls ihr trotzdem einen weiten Bogen um die Dinger macht, lasst bitte nichts zurück und verrichtet Euer Geschäft nicht direkt auf dem Fuss- oder Fahrweg.

Die Gemeinde hat keine Mühe gescheut und uns eine schöne Plattform für die Müllsammlung errichtet. Bitte nutzt diese und trennt Euren Müll nach Schweizer Konform.

Weiter konnten wir vor ein paar Wochen eine Interessengemeinschaft Magic Wood (kurz IG Magic Wood) gründen. Jeder kann Mitglied werden und uns unterstützen sowie von tollen Angeboten profitieren. Weitere Info dazu in Kürze online...

Ueber die Bedingungen werden wir Euch natürlich auf dem Laufenden halten. Geniesst noch ein paar Wochen das Tessin und andere Gebiete bevor hier die Saison eingeläutet wird. Viel Spass und bis bald im magischen Wald.

A snowy winter season is slowly coming to an end. On the roof's there is still 05meters of snow melting drop by drop. Skitourers had a whole winter to enjoy perfect conditions and still continuing. Ice climbers got in early december this season spoiled with beautiful icefalls, but mid of february it already got to warm for safe climbing. It will still take a while until the conditions are ready for pleasant, dry bouldering. Time for us for the last preparations...

Due the raising ammount of trash and thereby higher costs we decided to raise the price for the campground to CHF 6.-. The price in EUR remains at EUR 5.- as last season.

As a further sanction we finally could agree with the ToiToi company to let us rent more toilets during high season. We hope to cope with the rush this year. In case of you still have to avoid them, please leave no traces and do your business not directly on the path.

The community made a big effort to built a nict platform for the trash collection. Please use it and recycle your trash according to swiss law's.
